# How ClothBuddy works

## Step 1: Book a pickup

Message us on WhatsApp — the ClothBuddy app for Android and iPhone is launching soon.

- Share your address with pincode, the services you need and a rough count of pieces
- Choose a pickup window: 9 AM–12 PM, 12–3 PM, 3–6 PM, 6–8 PM — any day of the week
- Book at least 2 hours ahead, up to 7 days in advance
- You’ll see prices before you confirm — services start from ₹15 a piece, GST included

## Step 2: We collect from your door

A ClothBuddy rider arrives in your slot. No bags to drop off, no queues.

- Every piece is counted with you and photographed at pickup
- Your bill follows the count at pickup — not the estimate
- Tell the rider about delicate fabrics, stains or anything that needs special care
- Please empty pockets and keep valuables with you

## Step 3: Experts take care of it

Your clothes go to experienced local pressmen, laundries and dry cleaners we work with directly.

- Each service follows the care label and the fabric
- Dry-clean and stain-removal items are inspected first; their final price is confirmed after inspection
- Every step of your order is recorded
- Separate GST bills for each service (or one combined bill, if you prefer)

## Step 4: Delivered back, fresh

Once your order is ready, you choose the delivery slot that suits you.

- Folded neatly, or on hangers where possible
- Delivery is photographed for your records
- Pay by cash or UPI at your door — nothing upfront
- Something not right? Tell us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery

## Questions about pickups

### Can I reschedule or cancel a pickup?

Yes. You can reschedule before a rider is assigned, and cancel free of charge any time before pickup begins.

### What if I’m not home during my slot?

Someone else at your address can hand over or receive the clothes. If nobody is available, message us and we’ll arrange another slot.

### Do I need to count my clothes?

A rough count is enough when you book. Our rider counts every piece with you at pickup, and your bill follows that count.

### Can I place a new order while one is in progress?

Each customer has one open order at a time — add everything to a single pickup and we’ll bill each service separately.
