# Delete your ClothBuddy account — ClothBuddy

> This page explains how to delete your account in the ClothBuddy app (developer: Aarvin Ventures) and how to request deletion of your personal data.

## Delete your account in the app

1. Open the ClothBuddy app and sign in.
2. Go to **Account** → **Delete my account**.
3. Confirm. You are signed out on every device, and your name, email and saved addresses are erased, straight away.

An account cannot be closed while an order is in progress (picked up, being processed or out for delivery). Once that order is delivered, you can delete your account. Orders not yet picked up are cancelled automatically.

## Can’t use the app? Ask us

Send a deletion request from your registered mobile number to [WhatsApp +91 81258 55266](https://wa.me/918125855266), or email [sannagiri@aarvinventures.com](mailto:sannagiri@aarvinventures.com) with your registered mobile number. We may verify your identity before acting. We deactivate the account promptly after verification and complete erasure within 30 days.

## What happens to your data

| Data | What happens |
| --- | --- |
| Sign-in sessions, linked devices and push-notification tokens | Removed immediately when you delete your account |
| Your mobile number | Released, so it can sign up again as a new account |
| Profile name, email and saved addresses | Erased immediately when you delete your account in the app, or within 30 days of a request by email or WhatsApp |
| Orders and GST bills | Kept for the period required by GST law (at least 72 months from the due date of the annual return for that year) and to resolve claims, then deleted |
| Garment photos from pickup and delivery | Kept privately for up to 3 years after the order is completed, then deleted |
| Fraud-prevention records (phone-to-device links, offer checks) | Kept only as long as needed to prevent fraud and offer misuse |

## Delete some data without closing your account

You can remove saved addresses and linked devices in the app at any time, or ask us to delete specific data by email or WhatsApp.
